Tapped this beauty yesterday. A Sprig of Grass, my English-style IPA.
Happy yeast, happy brewer.
Of course I am brewing today. Another batch of my English-style IPA, A Spring of Grass.
And that’s the English IPA. Couple of experimental tweaks this time: changed a couple of hop varieties to see how they compare and dry hopping in the keg.
Took forever to get the beer flowing into this keg. First time I have tried dry hopping loose. If the flavor or aroma is better, I have some thoughts on how to improve next time.
Kegs are cleaned, sanitized and CO2 purged, ready for kegging day next weekend.
Cleaning and preparing kegs today. Next weekend I will keg my Munich Helles and my English IPA.
Yeast is pitched and everything is cleaned. An uncommon sight, all my fermenters in use. Kolsch on the left goes into keg next weekend, Helles on the right a few weeks after.
So many hops, almost 5 oz, plus almost 2 oz already added, and 1.5 that went in my hop jacket, and another 4.5 that will go in at dry hop.
