I think this may be the best batch of mild I have brewed yet. I am insanely proud of the color and clarity. Perfect day for a pint along with lunch on the deck.

For three batches over three years I have struggled with this recipe for my mild ale, Best Interest. I am finally starting to feel happy without it for the first time with this year’s batch.
Just finished kegging this year’s batch of mild. @marylandmalt base malt and some of their trial roasted malts. Beautiful color and delicate flavor. Cannot wait to share.
I have made the best wort I know how, now it is up to the yeast.
