I very much enjoyed catching up with my very good friend, Kenny Borkmann, at Brookeville Beer Farm the other day. Great beer, great stories, and great advice.

Pale Ale
More than a little bit of all right. Pale ale is my go to style for this kind of weather and Bet the Farm is a beautiful example of the style from @brookevillebeer.

Drive
A day off from work, gorgeous weather, and a desire to support local craft beer resulted in an enjoyable drive to pick up pizza and four packs from Brookville Beer Farm.

Reward
A reward after a day of choring. I haven’t had this beer in a while, it is one of my favorites. So good right now.

Delivery
Thank you for the delivery from @DenizensBrewing earlier today, @JulieVerratti. Thank you, too, for all your incredible advocacy on behalf of small businesses right now.

Last
Last beer before boarding our flight home. I am happy it is @CigarCityBeer.

You know I found time to slip away briefly to visit a local brewery, @wpbrewery_. Glad I got to meet @FloriduhBrewer and a couple of his friends and chat before I had to get back to the next family gathering.

Without me having to pressure or cajole, coworkers have decided our evening outing tonight will be to a craft beer spot. I am happy both to indulge my passion and that I avoided being the squeaky wheel or having to sneak away on my own to explore local offerings.
First choice, City Tap House, didn’t have a free seat at the bar. Pi Pizzeria isn’t a bad consolation prize. Decent draft list.
DC
There are many things I do not miss from my various past gigs in DC. The view is not one of them. I am glad to have an excuse to visit.
