This old man is coming to enjoy the remainder of his days with us. We were saddened to learn that his owner, a fifteen year family friend who was the best Gibson groomer ever, passed. Very glad he was already our part time dog so Roxy will be fine with him.
I put on the National Dog Show and Gibson is captivated.
The weather is spectacular today here in Maryland, just outside of DC. Andrea and I are reading on the deck while Roxy snoozes nearby. Gibson is still probably napping by an AC vent. After all, he is far fluffier than his sister.
Roxy was unimpressed with my five star island this morning. She was only here for the snuggles.
I abandoned the deck because the noon sun was a bit much. Someone followed me inside and is insisting on a snuggle.
Not going to lie. This is a large factor in why I spend so much time at the local breweries that I do.
I’ll say. The creek was pretty much at the top of its banks. The trail was flooded here and there as was a lot of the park on either side of the creek and trail.
Someone was wound up earlier today so we had a nice, long walk by the creek this afternoon.
My sister made sure that the boys and I received some of my dad’s guitars that he wanted us to have. Gibson, unsurprisingly, loves when we play guitars, even if Calum isn’t playing his namesake. Roxy is unsure.
Pups have calmed after greeting and catching up with us after we were gone all week.
